Ruth Crowe Artist

My art reflects an exciting journey that gives me the opportunity to capture moments in time and to share with others the beauty of God's Creations. Throughout my career as a nurse, I refined my observational skills. As an artist, these skills allow me to look at things with a different perspective to capture those special moments in my art.

My art journey began in the early 70s when we lived in England and Scotland. As we traveled through Western Europe, I observed the marvelous art that abounds in Europe, as well as, the wonderful scenery. My journey continued through New Orleans, Louisiana and is ongoing in Northeast Tennessee. My favorite subjects come from the beauty of God's world, including landscapes, people in action, and flowers. Painting is truly an enjoyable journey.
